Jack Osbourne slams critics who called him ‘sick’ after weight loss journey

Jack Osbourne is done with body shaming.

The 40-year-old news anchor took to Instagram to respond to articles shaming her for being “too underweight” and calling her “sick,” saying, “I can’t believe I have to do this f—ing video.”

“I haven’t lost weight since I came out of the woods and did ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ six months ago,” he explained. “I’m the same f—ing weight. The only difference is I shaved my beard and went for a creepy moustache. That’s the only f—ing difference.”

She went on to share that she has been on a weight loss journey for several years, and “has been steadily losing weight for the last three and a half years.”

When the going got tough, Jack shared that he weighed 220 pounds and when he saw that number on the scale, “he decided I wanted to make some changes, so I did.”

“What’s the f–king’s big problem?” Jack added. “I’m five and a half feet tall and 155 pounds. In good health.”

She later added that she’s been “bullied by the media about being fat” her whole life and can’t believe that even though she’s “getting to a healthy weight,” she’s been “criticized even more,” telling reporters and other body shamers that they “can get f-ked.”

Jack Osbourne is not the only one who has faced people commenting on their body, as his sister, Kelly Osbourne, received criticism after her appearance at the BRIT Awards. After attending the awards show, social media users started commenting on her body, with one writing, “Ditch the Ozempic, eat a burger.”

“It looks like a corpse… he is very small and very fragile…. It looks like he will see his father soon.”

Kelly posted screenshots of the nasty comments, writing “She really can’t believe how disgusting some people are,” above the screenshot.

“This is a special cruelty to hurt someone who is clearly going through something, kicking me down, doubting my pain, spreading my problems like gossip, and turning my back on you when I need support and love the most,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

He added that commenting on another person’s body does not show strength, but rather a “gross lack of compassion and character.”

“Right now I’m going through a very difficult time in my life,” he added. “I don’t even have to answer for myself. But I won’t sit here and accept being dehumanized in this way!”
