We can safely say that Drake is not one to shy away from fights. The Canadian rapper has repeatedly been in heated arguments, particularly with other musicians. How can we forget his problem with Ye, ex-Kanye West? They had such a long fight that we need a history book to chart their career. However, Ye was also involved in the dispute. He once sent Drake an important warning after Drake dropped a dissenting tip. Many expected his feud to end, but it doesn’t seem likely.
But Ye is not the only person who has had problems with Drake. In fact, Drake has offended so many people that there is a long list of people he could apologize to. Whether he does or not remains to be seen, but he proves that Drake isn’t shy about making waves. This also applies to his relationship with Chris Brown, with whom he has had a long-standing feud. However, they appear to have patched things up and are now in good shape.
Drake and Chris Brown had a fight over Rihanna

Much of Drake and Chris Brown’s feud happened because of Rihanna. For some context, Rihanna and Brown started dating in 2007, according to Page Six, and the relationship ended badly in 2009 after the couple’s domestic abuse scandal. Meanwhile, due to their connection in the world of music, Rihanna and Drake were in each other’s orbit. In May 2009, they were seen kissing in New York, according to a subsequent Page Six post. Although neither Rihanna nor Drake openly confirmed a relationship, they were very close and frequently collaborated over the years.
This seemed to be a significant source of contention between Drake and Brown. In 2012, the two men allegedly got into an altercation at a nightclub in New York City, according to the New York Post, over Rihanna. Years later, when Brown met with DRINK CHAMPS in June 2022, he opened up about the incident. “I’m not saying I’m going to come up with all the smoke, but I really don’t have a problem with all the smoke,” Brown said. “I’m not even trying to be tough, nothing like that.”
Despite the fight, Brown said things are good between them now. “It was just a misunderstanding on both sides,” he added. “I’m not going to go into too much detail. He’s funny now, but as far as that, the blood, he’s good. He’s straight.”

While things are good now between Drake and Chris Brown, that doesn’t mean they didn’t have a bumpy ride before reconciling. When Drake sat in on “Keep It Thoro” in 2013, he was asked about Brown and was upset. Don’t ask me shit about that man when I go upstairs and leave that man alone. Stop taking advantage of his insecurities,” Drake responded (via MTV). “His insecurities about him are the fact that I make better music than him, that I’m more pop than him, and that at one point in his life, the woman he loves fell into my lap.”
The romance-related tension seemed to reoccur. In 2014, Brown broke up with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran after she allegedly went on a date with Drake. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Brown said: “I was in lockdown for almost 4 months and only had one visit from you throwing parties and taking secret trips to Toronto and hanging out with Drake!” (via The Daily Beast).
Eventually, however, things took care of themselves. In November 2018, Drake gifted Brown a jacket from his OVO line, and Brown responded with an offer of clothing from his Black Pyramid line. Nothing like a small rebrand to set the record straight.
