AT&T Promo Codes: $50 Off May 2026

Major wireless carriers: A necessary evil if you travel a lot, have a family, or are just interested in consistent and widespread access. AT&T is the third largest provider in the US (first for 5G), with a large coverage map. I have had various AT&T plans for over a decade, first just for me and now for my whole family, even though I only get one cell phone bar in my house and have to stand in one 5 square foot yard to make a call. And I lost all the days of my life (Verizon is somehow worse.) But still! AT&T is great, they have all the latest phones, and there are some legal benefits, like no roaming in Canada or Mexico with select plans. If you know you’ll have to go with one of the big boys, don’t sign up without checking out the discounts below first.

Save on AT&T prepaid phone plans with the latest deals

AT&T’s prepaid phone plan is one of the easiest ways to save big on your future phone bills. AT&T has a wide selection of prepaid phone plans, including 5G prepaid plans and multi-month long-term plans. For less than $25 a month, you’ll get unlimited talk, text, and data. Plus, all AT&T prepaid plans include AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security, and they’re eligible for an eSIM or SIM card for as little as $0.99.

Get the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for $0

We at the WIRED reviews team love the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. We rated it a high 8/10 because of its built-in privacy screen. We also liked the horizon lock for stable video capture. Plus, it has excellent performance, excellent battery life, and a reliable quad camera system. And right now, you can get a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for free with an eligible trade-in (in any case, but there is a trade-in required for a Galaxy S24+, Z Fold5, or newer).

Save Over $600 a year with AT&T Fiber

AT&T Fiber claims to be the fastest internet network in America. You can get one for yourself (for less) with this new deal. If first-time customers sign up for Fiber now, they’ll get 1 Gigabyte for just $37 a month. That’s over $600 in savings per year!

Are There Any AT&T Promos For Existing Customers?

But I already have AT&T, you might say—the new deals don’t work for me. Do you have AT&T internet, though? If, like me, you have AT&T for your phone plan and Xfinity or CenturyLink for internet, did you know you can save 20% on your AT&T bill every month when you bundle your unlimited wireless internet service? This applies to both current phone customers and current Internet customers who do not have both plans.

AT&T wants to reward you for your loyalty: when you sign up for AT&T Fiber and eligible wireless plans, you can earn up to $150 in AT&T Visa Rewards cards. Be sure to check out AT&T’s deals page for more details on that offer, as well as other great ways to save.

AT&T Discounts for Professionals and Students

One of the reasons I went with AT&T in the first place is that my husband is a college professor and we get 25% off our bill. This 25% discount applies to all teachers, as well as active duty military, veterans, first responders, and most medical professionals. None of the above? Students and union members can save $10 per line per month, and union members can also get a 20% discount on accessories like cases, and things you used to get with your phones, like chargers and cables.

How Can I Make My AT&T Plan Cheaper?

Not a new customer; not in the assembly area; and not a teacher/first responder, military, or student? All is not lost in the face of a discount. You can save over $800 a year on AT&T Wireless when you bundle four unlimited wireless plans with your current internet plan. (Savings based on 20% off four voice lines with qualifying internet service, plus $10/month off qualifying AutoPay and paperless billing, starting between two bills.)

You can also get a discount on a new phone with an eligible trade-in, but the best deal might be the fact AT&T lets you try it for free for 30 days. Keep your current service and phone number while you try the AT&T network from your device—no holds or commitments. You don’t even need a credit card. It’s a good way to make sure you’re getting good service when you’ll be using the phone a lot.

Get 20% Off AT&T Premium Plan

Don’t need four unlimited plans? Check to see if your employer offers a discount—a few have in the past, and you can save $10 per month per line on an unlimited plan. Check here to see if your workplace is eligible. With this AT&T discount, select corporate employees will be rewarded for working at their workplace and can save 20% per line on the AT&T Premium 2.0SM plan with an employer discount. This agreement will be included in three credit cycles and is available to qualified employees, students, and authorized persons of eligible companies, universities and sponsoring organizations with an eligible business or service agreement. Verify your eligibility online or provide a valid employee badge or paystub, student ID, or approved proof of eligibility in store.

Save More With AT&T Family Plans

If you want more people on your phone line or you’re adding your child’s first phone line, the AT&T Family Plan is one of the most cost-effective ways to make the switch. With AT&T family plans, you can mix and match any of AT&T’s unlimited plans to get great deals and great discounts on any smartphone for each family member. Depending on what you choose, plans start at just $36 per month, per line (for 4 lines).

Get two AT&T 55+ lines for $35/Month

If your parent, grandparent or you (if you’re over 55) want to change their phone provider, make sure you get this seniors-only bundle deal. With AT&T 55+ plans, you can bundle two wireless Internet lines and unlimited home Internet from AT&T for $99 a month if you’re 55 years old or older. That’s a total of $550 in annual savings compared to the AT&T Value 2.0 plan with 2 lines and 300 Internet! You’ll just need to choose your wireless lines, which will be $35 a month on your own, and whether your home qualifies for AT&T Fiber or AT&T Internet Air, you’ll pay $29 a month for home Internet. Plus, you can get AT&T Internet Backup included, which means if your Internet goes down, your wireless data can provide coverage to keep you connected.

AT&T Offers Phones Under $10 a Month

Changing phone plans doesn’t have to be confusing or expensive. Right now, AT&T has a bunch of phone options for $10 a month or less. This offer is available on new lines only and does not include trade-ins. This $10 a month AT&T phone deal includes tons of hot phones like the Motorola razr+ 2026, which used to be $29 a month, or the iPhone 16 for Apple-heads, which used to be $21 a month and is now just $3. Or if you want something a little cheaper, the Apple iPhone Air, which was $28 a month, is now only $10 a month. There are many discounted phones available for $10 a month or less, so be sure to check them out to see if there’s one for you! (Spoiler: there is.)
