Beatbot Pool Cleaning Robots on Sale for a Limited Time

It’s about that time of year. National Open Pool Day is tomorrow, April 25, and summer is almost here, which means pool owners everywhere are getting ready to unveil the horrors of whatever happens during the off-season. Most of Beatbot’s inventory is sold on Amazon and Beatbot’s own store, with prices starting at $499. Beatbot makes many of the best pool cleaning robots we’ve tested, and we’ve highlighted our top picks below. Note that the discounts are scheduled to end on April 26, or items may sell out sooner. Enjoy the pool party season! (Leave me an invitation!)

Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra for $2,649 ($500 off)

  • Image may contain: Car, Transportation, Vehicle, Appliance, Device, and Electronic Device

Our favorite robotic pool cleaner overall, the AquaSense 2 Ultra has what WIRED contributor Chris Null calls “closer cleaning capabilities.” It has six hours of battery life and AI-powered debris detection, and can handle cleaning floors, walls, and water lines. You’ll also get a charging stand. Note that this cleaner weighs about 30 pounds, so make sure you eat your protein so you can get it out of the water when the job is done. Even though it floats, it still feels very heavy. AI debris detection sets this model apart, as do five cleaning brushes and a very large battery capacity. If you’re looking for the best pool cleaner we’ve reviewed, and don’t want to pay full price, this deal is for you.

Beatbot Sora 30 for $749 ($200 off)

  • Image may contain: Beatbot Sora 30 Pool Cleaning Robot
  • Image may contain: Car, Transportation, Vehicle, Device, Electronics, Appliance, and Vacuum Cleaner

The Beatbot Sora 30 offers great value for the price. It tends to fluctuate between this discounted price and its full $1,000 MSRP, and we haven’t seen it sell for less than it currently does. It has excellent battery life and more than enough power and features for the daily pool cleaning needs of most users. It doesn’t have an overhead skimmer—you’d want the more expensive Sora 70 ($1,200 on sale; $300 off) for that—but otherwise it’s capable of cleaning your pool, walls, and water line. It’s easy to use with the accompanying app, and it floats when it’s done cleaning for easy retrieval. If you don’t need a hoverboard or don’t want to drop a ton of cash, this mid-range robot is worth considering.

iSkim Ultra Robotic Pool Skimmer

The best surface skimmer has sensors that prevent it from hitting the walls of your pool while cleaning. Unlike many other robots in this category, they actually slow down and turn while skating. It has a basket release button on the front which can sometimes be accidentally pressed, although this may not be a problem depending on the condition of your pool, and it’s not so much a nuisance as it is something to be aware of. Get this model if you want to keep the surface of your pool clean automatically, but don’t mind cleaning the walls and floor.
