A few months back I was on a Callaway shoot with Dalton Joyce and after filming one day we all headed to dinner. What was good near our place for dinner? The PGA Tour Superstore. Dalton, being a PGATSS ambassador wanted to come in to check things out and Roger Steele (also a PGATSS ambassador) also paid a little visit.
As we walked around looking for things that neither of us had to buy, Dalton commented to me about his favorite Travis Mathew Cloud Crew Tee Shirt. I had seen him wearing these black shirts in many of his videos, and I thought “Dalton is just a shirt”. But as he walked me through a rack of multiple colors and sizes of Cloud Crew Tee Shirts it only took one touch to fall in love.

The shirts are ridiculously soft and very heavy. That makes them perfect for a casual shirt, but they also hold up really well for exercise. I can’t comment on being in the gym with them, but Dalton makes them look good, and I’ve worn the shirts to sweat enough of my own that I can promise they’ll hold me. I also started having fun with tee shirts recently on the podcast. The one in the inset shows a slight nod to Dalton and “No one cares, work hard.” catch phrase, and I’ve also made a few gear shirts including “Just Add Hot Melt” and “2 Clicks Lower”. I also found Johnny Wunder wearing some as well.
Another thing about shirts is that they wash really well. I’m the first person to completely ignore the maintenance suggestions, but so far so good. The girls did not shrink, heal or receive any other damage. The one con I will mention is that the collars are not very well made, so it’s best to make sure you hang or roll them out of the dryer to keep them nice and sharp.
Did I think I would find my favorite shirt at the PGA Tour Superstore? Not at all. But I did, and I think you might too. The Cloud Crew Tee is available in 6 different colors and multiple sizes. In my experience they are true to size!
