Now that the world’s best golfers are headed to Long Island for the 2026 US Open, the one question that lingers is this: will Shinnecock Hills add to the legacy of a major winner (Scottie Scheffler is striving to complete a career Grand Slam), or will a rookie make history with his first major victory?
Whatever happens, golf fans who aren’t lucky enough to be there in person will be able to watch almost every tournament from the comfort of home.
TV coverage of the 2026 US Open will be provided by NBC, USA and NBCSN. USA will provide primetime telecast on Thursday, and primetime coverage on Saturday. NBCSN will tune in for late coverage on Thursday and early coverage on Friday. NBC will broadcast Friday’s second round, along with the main TV broadcast on Saturday and Sunday.
Live streaming of the 2026 US Open will be available through Peacock, USOpen.com and the USGA app. Peacock will provide the same broadcasts on NBC and NBCSN’s TV, in addition to featured team coverage of all long tournaments.
