The Blue Jays announced Wednesday that they have optioned the righty’s contract Austin Voth from Triple-A Buffalo. To make room on the 26-man and 40-man rosters, Toronto selected the right-hander Tanner Andrews to Buffalo and transferred the catcher Alejandro Kirk from 10 to 60 IL days. Kirk has already been out about 60 days since thumb surgery in early April, so that move is legal. Moving to 60 days does not reset his IL clock, so he will still be eligible to work once he reaches a total of 60 days on the shelf.
